Description

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

After more than 30 years of scientific work in the field of Hard X-ray Photon Emission Spectroscopy (HAXPES), beamline development at DORIS and PETRA, fostering international collaborations, extending research capabilities especially in the field of hard and soft X-ray spectroscopy, and many other achievements at DESY, Dr. Wolfgang Drube will retire at the end of November 2018. Therefore we would like to celebrate this with you at a farewell symposium.

The symposium will take place on Friday November 23 from 1 pm to 3:30 pm at the DESY lecture hall. The talks will cover his scientific contributions and influence in the field of HAXPES.

After the symposium there will be a farewell reception for invited guests, which starts at 4 pm in the FLASH seminar room.

In order to prepare the events we ask you to register for the farewell symposium and/or farewell reception via the registration panel on the left.
