Brane dynamics has been playing important role for understanding gauge theories. Due to the recent development of type IIB 5-brane web technique, we are able to study wider class of 5d N=1 gauge theories from the brane construction. We discuss various examples of new 5-brane web configurations for 5d N=1 gauge theories, especially the ones for the theories with 6d UV fixed points. We also discuss that various non-perturbative aspects of 5d N=1 gauge theories can be captured by the 5-brane web diagram in a simple manner. In this talk, I will try to give general overview rather than focusing on one specific paper of mine.
