analysis web-page
------------------
An analysis web-page has been set up. This is for collecting all
relevant material for the preliminary release and for the publication.

Independent analysis by H1 and comparison to H1 fit [arxiv:1709.07251]
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The slides prepared by Daniel were shown. The general impression was
that the results are close to the results from XFitter and the
Oxford-code, although the uncertainties in the H1-analysis shown here
are a bit higher. One jet dataset is not yet included in the H1
analysis, which possibly can explain a part of the uncertainty
difference. This is going to be followed up for the publication.
Preliminary request
-------------------
All questions raised in the previous meeting one month ago were
answered. The material to be released is collected in a short note,
a draft of the note is attached to this indico page.
There was broad agreement to release the results for DIS. The
following decisions were taken:
- on slide 17, it was decided NOT to apply the Q^2 cut the normalized
jet data (i.e. to release as preliminary the plot on the right side).
- various improvements to the figures were discussed, as summarized
below.
- the preliminary release is scheduled for 4.4.2018 at 10:00 in SR7a
On that date we are going to have a final look at the improved figures.
Requests for figure updates collected so far
--------------------------------------------
The figures are discussed as they appear in the draft writeup.
Figure 1a:
- remove the alpha_s number from the chi**2 fit
- try to superimpose graphically the main alpha_s fit result
(possibly using colors for exp,model,param)
Figure 1b:
- prepare alternative version of this in different aspect ratio
(different axis range?) such that it can be compared directly to the
corresponding figure 65 from the HERAPDF2.0 paper
- try with larger symbols
Fig 2-5:
- move the "Q^2=10 GeV^2" label to a better place and use
consistent font
- try to have in addition PDF (comparison?) plots with linear x-scale
(similar to fig 67 bottom in HERAPDF paper), to see better the
high-x region.
Fig 6-9:
- have thicker frames and axis ticks
