Description
Rationale: After a two very successful years of Euclid quasar discovery/characterization efforts and in the anticipation of the internal DR1 data release, we as a work package want to come together to look back on the progress we made, review our Euclid quasar selection strategies, and discuss the WP key papers related to DR1. The workshop will take place at Hamburg Observatory (on google maps) in Hamburg Bergedorf.
Workshop dates: November 17th (morning) to November 19th (noon).
Catering: Food and drink for coffee breaks in the morning and afternoon and lunch will be provided.
Travel to Hamburg Observatory
It is highly recommended to use the hvv App ( iOS ; Android ) for buying public transport tickets and for finding the fastest rout to your destination.
- from the main train station: You take the S2 (suburban railway) in the direction of Aumühle and exit at Bergedorf station. Buses 135/332 run in the direction of the observatory (see google maps link above).
- from the airport: You take the S1 in the direction of Wedel and exit at Berliner Tor station. There you switch to the S2 in the direction of Aumühle and exit at Bergedorf station. Buses 135/332 run in the direction of the observatory (see google maps link above).
