Several projects, including LSDMA, INDIGO-DataCloud, AARC and EUDAT, are expected to share their experience in the field. The event is hosted by Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and will be co-located with LSDMA symposium on Big Data. Please refer to the symposium page for more details on the symposium.

How to get there
By plane: There are two airports not too far from Karlsruhe: Frankfurt and Stuttgart
  • Frankfurt Main, which is about 1 hour by train to Karlsruhe. The train stations are in the Airport in the Terminal 1 building. Please go to "long-distance trains" platform 5. Terminals are connected by the 'free of charge' SkyLIne Train or busses.
  • Stuttgart is about 1.6h from Karlsruhe.
Details for public transport in Karlsruhe: The closest tram stop is "Karlsruhe, Durlacher Tor / KIT-Campus Süd". Trams go every 2-5 minutes from Karlsruhe Main Station. Trams you can take are:
  • 1
  • 2
  • S-4
  • S-41
(Please note the difference between Trams without S and Trains with S, because e.g. Tram 4 and S-2 will take you to the wrong place!) If your train ticket from the airport to Karlsruhe says "Karlsruhe + City", the public transport is included on the way from the airport and back. The app for public transport is Öffi:
