Advanced Techniques in LLRF control for XFEL - Collaboration Workshop

The Hotel

Workshop will take place in the Villa Otwock Hotel & Conference Centre (Villa Otwock location)  near National Centre of Nuclear Research in Swierk. There are single and double rooms available in the following prices (one night for whole room):

• Single room: 176 PLN (about 43 Euro)
• Double room: 232 PLN (about 57 Euro)

Conference Fee

For this conference, fee will be 240 Euro, and it will cover:

• Cost of conference room
• All meals, including official dinner, entertainment, etc.
• Visit to NCBJ Swierk
• Transter from/to airport

The conference fee will NOT cover cost of:

• Payment for the hotel room
• Cost of long distance travel (i.e. Hamburg-Warsaw)

Transfer to and from the Airport

On 18.02 evening, there will arranged transfer from the Warsaw Airport to the Villa Otwock, it will be synchronized with the flight from Hamburg LO 394 (see table below).
Similarly, on 21.02 there will be transfer from Villa Otwock to the Warsaw Airport for the flight LO 393.

By airplane

For guests coming from Hamburg, there will be bus arranged to take everyone from the airport to the hotel. For those who will travel from airport to hotel by themselves, the map is here: From Warsaw Airport to Villa Otwock

By train

It is possible to arrive to Otwock from Warsaw by train. To do it, one have to go to the "Warsaw City Center" station (Warszawa Śródmieście), which is next to the main railway station Warsaw Central (where all long-distance trains arrives).
From Warszawa Śródmieście, one has to go by SKM train, using line S1 in the direction of Otwock (which is the last station). After arrival in Otwock, one has to take a taxi to get to the Villa Otwock, or contact one of the organizing committee members, to pick him up from the station.

By car

Villa Otwock and NCBJ are located near the route 17 (Warsaw-Lublin), about 40 km from Warsaw. The unique feature of the crossroad near NCBJ and Villa Otwock, are two petrol stations: Lotos and Statoil. The NCBJ institute is located on Statoil side, and Villa Otwock is located on the Lotos side.
