The focus of the 2014 Terascale Statistics school is on making measurements, in particular with the data collected by the LHC. The school will introduce the details of probability and statistics and provide comprehensive lectures on the following subjects: parameter estimation, multivariate analysis techniques and unfolding. Lectures will be followed by practical hands-on tutorial sessions that illustrate the application of the measurement techniques in practice.
