Dear present & future colleagues, collaborators and fellow scientists,
With the upgrade of the synchrotron radiation source PETRA III to PETRA IV, DESY and its campus partners plan to build a unique 3D X-ray microscope in Hamburg that can be used to develop customized materials for technological innovations – and thus important building blocks for the energy transition and environmental protection.
As PETRA IV is intended to meet the needs of science and business alike, we are organizing thematic workshops to become better acquainted with the requirements for analytical methods and accompanying services in industry.
Based on your expertise, we would like to cordially invite you to the hybrid workshop:
"PETRA IV – Focus on Energy"
Thursday, March 30th 2023 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
We will offer inspiring insights and talks on research and service possibilities for Energy Research on our campus (e.g. storage, materials, hydrogen) and discuss your needs and key challenges. After the workshop we offer a guided tour to our current accelerator PETRA III.
PETRA IV will be a major investment for the German and international scientific landscape. This workshop offers you the opportunity to ensure that your company or institute can also benefit from the analytical possibilities at DESY in the future. We would be very pleased to receive your confirmation of participation by 25th March 2023.
