Description
The talk will discuss the measurement of the mass of the heaviest known Standard Model particle, the top quark, performed by the D0 experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. For this measurement the full D0 Run II data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9.7/fb is used. I will present the most precise D0 measurement employing the matrix element technique in the lepton+jet channel.
