WIMP dark matter and the isotropic radio background connection

Description
The isotropic radio background, aka ARCADE2 excess, has been observed in radio observations in the range of MHz-GHz. Since its first evidence half a decade ago, there is no conclusive explanation for this phenomenon. On the other hand, dark matter (DM) present in galaxies and clusters may contribute to the isotropic background via the synchrotron radiation of electrons coming from DM annihilation subproducts. The analysis of such isotropic component can be used to set constraints on some DM properties as well as to develop new methods to extract an isotropic component from the radio data.
