Description
We investigate the realisation of single-field F-term axion monodromy inflation in string theory. Moduli stabilisation in type IIB via the flux induced superpotential is considered. The challenges of keeping one axion massless/light while all other moduli are stabilised at hierarchically higher mass, are discussed. We focus on the axio-dilaton and the complex-structure moduli.
