Description

I will show how exceptional generalised geometry provides a simple of way of characterising generic flux backgrounds preserving minimal supersymmetry in the external Minkowski or AdS space. This will involve introducing the notion of a generalised G-structure and its respective intrinsic torsion, and seeing how it relates to the Killing spinor equations.
