To make efficient use of the new FEL facility FLASH @ DESY, the Peak Brightness Collaboration on FLASH Experiments was formed several years ago. The experiments grouped together in this collaboration cover a wide range of scientific areas from plasma physics and finite temperature condensed matter physics to research that addresses topics related to biological imaging.
For more information see also the Peak Brightness Collaboration webpage.
The aim of this third meeting, which follows after Lisbon in 2003 and Hamburg in 2007, is to discuss recent results that have been obtained at FLASH, but also discuss possible plans and ideas for the next submission of proposals at FLASH for the years 2009/10.
The concept for the meeting is to encourage a free exchange of ideas on the experiments that have taken place, the results of those experiment, and plans for new as well as continued experimental efforts.
As usual there will be no registration fee. We cannot provide any travel reimbursement regarding this workshop. Participants are asked to arrange travelling and accommodation on their own.
