Tour: We will do a special two hours harbour round trip with the 'Barkasse' ship 'Cremon I' where you will learn on the Hamburg harbour history, working place and globalisation and will see many interesting parts of the harbour and ships. One can buy some drinks on board (but you can also bring your own drinks/sandwich whatever) Fee: There is a fixed price for renting the boat and for the tour in English: 400 Euro. If 50 people join (which is the maximum number) then the price per person is 8 Euro, otherwise it will be a bit higher.. (The fee is to be paid in advance in cash at the offices of Andrea Schrader 01e/O1.518 or Ute Micheelsen 25f/259) Transport: We will go there with public transport (you have to purchase your own tickets, cheapest option is daily group ticket for up to 5 persons for 11,20 Euro) taking the M1 buses departing at 14h02 or 14h12 (have to split into two groups, otherwise the buses will be too full) to Othmarschen, with Train S1 to Stadthausbruecke, and then walk to the ponton pier, the travel time from DESY to there is about 45 minutes The ship lies at anchor in the Binnenhafen at 53.544395, 9.986517 Hohe Bruecke/Kajen. You may also arrange the transport yourself (e.g. with bike or car). Further details will be announced in due time.
