Welcome to the registration site for the practical skills and start-up workshops of CUI and PIER. The workshops are part of both the CUI Graduate Days 2016 and of the PIER Innovation Day 2016. The workshops are open for all PhD students, postdocs and interested scientists from the research fields of CUI and PIER.
The programme consists of five workshops on Bahrenfeld campus and at Jungiusstrasse/physics department:

Bahrenfeld campus, CFEL (Notkestr. 85, 22607 Hamburg):
(1) Start-up I : Is it for you? Developing business ideas from your own research (max. 20 participants)
(2) SORRY, FULLY BOOKED - Start-up II: Setting up your own company. How to implement a successful business (max. 20 participants)
(3) SORRY, FULLY BOOKED - Communicate-Negotiate-Resolve. How to get the best out of the team you are in (max. 10 participants)

City campus, physics department, (Jungiusstr. 9-11, 20355 Hamburg):
(4) SORRY, FULLY BOOKED - Python programming skills (max. 12 participants)
(5) SORRY, FULLY BOOKED - CUDA programming skills (max. 12 participants)
