International doctoral students meeting: Science and the media

International doctoral students meeting is quarterly meeting for all doctorate students of the MIN faculty, for strengthening communication and networks within the community of German and international doctorate students. Generic topics will be presented during talks and panel debates followed by plenary discussions. All events are exclusively offered in English.
The next international doctoral students meeting will be heldon the 24^th of November at 6 pm to learn more about 'Science and the media' in special embience. Professor Michael Brüggemann as expert for science communication will meet the science journalists Nina Weber (Spiegel Online) and Kathrin Laatsch (moderate) to discuss the issues of how to deal with journalists and how to get the message of brilliant but complex scientific results across.
