German for true beginners (A1.1)

This course will enable you to build a strong foundation in German. You will acquire language used in everyday life and practise new vocabulary while learning the necessary grammatical structures and pronunciation rules. Students should be prepared to participate actively and also to do homework assignments inbetween the lessons. By the end of the course you should be able to handle simple social situations.

The course is reserved for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers of the PIER Helmholtz Graduate School and its coorperation partners CUI, EMBL and IMPRS-UFAST. The number of participants is limited to ten. Postdocs and PhD students from other graduate programmes in the PIER research fields may also participate upon request.
