TITLE: Uncertainties in the leading hadronic contribution to the muon g-2

ABSTRACT:  We give an overview of recent calculations of the leading order hadronic vacuum polarization
(LO-HVP) contribution to the muon g-2 is given. The main focus of the talk is to survey the developments
in the
evaluation of LO-HVP and their uncertainties using tau decay data in
view of recent evaluations of isospin breaking corrections.
