The meeting has the aim to discuss the physics cases that can be investigated with the International Axion Observatory (IAXO) which is a fourth generation Helioscope proposed by a large fraction of the community interested in axion physics.
Several overview talks will introduce the physics of axions and axion-like particles, the IAXO experiment and the upcoming steps to be taken. In addition, the current involvement of German groups will be presented, as well as future collaborations will be discussed.
The meeting should act as a kick-off event for future contributions to the(IAXO) project by the German physics community.
