International Doctoral Student Meeting with panel discussion

We are happy to welcome Dr. Michael Wegmann, Dr. Maike Tonner and Dr.-Ing. Steffi Beckhaus.

• Dr. Michael Wegmann works on immuno-pathogenesis of allergic bronchial asthma since the beginning of his PhD studies. After finishing his PhD he founded a start-up company at the university of Marburg to establish new asthma therapeutics. He currently is head of a junior research group at Fz Borstel.
• Dr. Maike Tonner is member of Group Actuarial at Euler Hermes, a company of Allianz based in Paris, where she is working as graduated mathematician on Actuarial Topics. Before joining Group Actuarial she has been working for the Research and Development department.
• Dr.-Ing. Steffi Beckhaus is a former professor of computing science of University of Hamburg, working in virtual reality, human machine interaction, and workplace design. She successfully reoriented herself several times during her career and is now working as a consultant, scientific expert, and systemic coach. 

Join the discussion, learn more about possible career perspectives and use the opportunity to ask questions. Invited to this meeting are all doctoral students of the MIN Faculty. The meeting will be held in English.

Venue: CFEL, Seminarroom I, Foyer (Bahrenfeld, Building 99)
Time: 25th of May, 18 - 19:30,  follow-up by a reception with finger food in the foyer.

Registration is not required, but your registration in Geventis will make the planning of the catering easier for us. However, spontaneous doctoral students without registration are welcome as well!
