1. Future schools etc. PDF group

Idea Johannes: Yearly schools, with focuses slightly shifting.
Next event: Autumn 2009 with focus on "hard processes at LHC"
Comment Thomas: Careful planning of audience and scope needed

In between have pheno weeks (A. Vogt, S. Alekhin, ... HFL +3loop week in autumn)
2. People

- Selection of statistics-position candidate proceeding. Candidates will present themselves on
February 6.
- MC position through MB; Thomas to fill out the "Stellenbesetzungantrag"
- Klaus R. and Frank-Peter Sch. in contact with MC group --> nice contact to CMS.
3. MC group

- Successful RIVET week
- some contact to ILC; but mostly focusing on technical issues --> not so interesting for the group
- Judith to contact Jenny L. for ILC matters.
4. Concept of the "theorist of the week"

Thomas reports about the idea that was not so well received by M. Kraemer, H. Dreiner, S. Dittmayer.
However, reactions from the Analysis Centre are very encouraging --> Thomas will bring the idea to the attention of the Analysis PB again. Maybe start with theory colleagues at UHH and DESY?

- Article in DESY inform --> Thomas will send draft around once it is ready.
- Need to find a date for a picture of as many as possible AC members for the article -> Thomas will oranise.
- Thomas reports on the feedback from the universities on the plans for schools and workshops in 2009 / 2010.
- Next meeting dates: 16.2., 16.3., 20.4., 18.5., at 9:30.
