Description
With increase in number of modules in a MTCA crate and client programs, and also with complication of modules and increase in number of module registers, usual register I/O access to the module plays an important role in PCIe transfer rate.
In this presentation different access methods to the PCI Express endpoint and their influence on transfer rate are provided.
The main attention is concentrated on interaction of the user application and device driver.
