The PIER Helmholtz Graduate School (PHGS) is jointly funded by the Helmholtz Association, Universität Hamburg and DESY. Since 2013, it is the home of PhD students in the PIER research and competence fields Particle & Astroparticle Physics, Nanoscience, Photon Science, Infection & Structural Biology, Theoretical Physics and Accelerator Research.
It is our pleasure to honour our graduates, this year’s winners of the call for the PIER PhD positions, and to welcome all new PhD students to our graduate school with its more than 200 members from all over the world.
