The DESY Science Day is a tribute to the scientists and the work they do at DESY.
All our DESY colleagues, our collaborators and friends are invited to join us for this festive event, where we will welcome newly appointed leading scientists, celebrate recent scientific highlights from DESY research, and award the PhD thesis prize of the Association of the Friends and Sponsors of DESY (VFFD).
The event culminates in the Jentschke lecture in memory of Willibald Jentschke, the founder and first director of DESY in Hamburg.
