Tour:
We will do a special two hours harbour round trip with a 'Barkasse' ship, where you will learn about the Hamburg harbour history,
working place and globalisation and will see many interesting
parts of the harbour and ships. One can buy some drinks on board
(but you can also bring your own drinks/sandwich whatever).
Fee and registration:
There is a fixed price for renting the boat and for the tour guide.
If 45 people join (which is the
maximum number) the price would be about 10,- Euros per person,
otherwise it will be a bit higher..
Please register until Friday, July 21
and pay by the same day the fee
in cash in the office of Andrea Schrader,
bldg. 1e, Room O1.518.
Transport:
We will go there with public transport
(you have to purchase your own tickets, cheapest option is daily group ticket for up to 5 persons for 11,80 Euro)
taking the M1 buses departing at 16h02 or 16h12 (have to split
into two groups, otherwise the buses will be too full)
to Othmarschen, with Train S1 to Stadthausbruecke,
and then walk to the ponton pier,
the travel time from DESY to there is about 45 minutes
The ship lies at anchor in the Binnenhafen at
53.5445, 9.9862 Hohe Bruecke/Kajen.
You may also arrange the transport yourself (e.g. with bike or car).
