String theory worldsheet form factors are related to the study of interacting strings and hence to the computation of gauge theory three-point correlation functions by means of the AdS/CFT duality. They are also potentially important in studying deformations of integrable examples of the duality to non-integrable theories. In this talk we will review the definition and properties of these quantities with a focus on their symmetries. We will then discuss their perturbative computation at both weak and strong 't Hooft coupling.
