Please give a brief summary of your poster

Due to the large top quark production cross section at the LHC, the ATLAS
experiment is expected to have enough statistics to measure top quark cross
section even at initial luminosities. Recent studies performed in ATLAS on
the development of top quark pair cross section measurements will be discussed.
An emphasis will be on measurements with data that will be collected in the first
year of the LHC run. The potential of using the top quark events for b-tagging calibration
will also be briefly discussed.
