Please give a brief summary of your poster
For the very forward region of an ILC detector special calorimeters are needed. They will be hit by a large fraction
of e+/e- pairs stemming from beamstrahlung. Sensors have to withstand a very high levels of ionizing dose.
Similar conditions will be faced at the LHC for detectors near the beam-pipe. Radiation hard sensors and examples
of their applications are presented.
