Description
While the word "elliptic" has been appeared in the title of numerous publicions recently, its connotation is sometimes left unclear. I am going to introduce elliptic curves and the required functions for their description in the context of calculating Feynman graphs by generalizing well-known notions from the Riemann sphere. I will explain, why there are several different "elliptic" languages and comment on suitable classes of iterated integrals on them, which allow to express solutions efficiently.
