Discrete Charged (2,0) Superconformal Matter

Description
We construct a novel type of (2,0) discrete charged superconformal matter coupled to 6d SUGRA using F-theory. Geometrically this is achieved by taking a freely acting Calabi-Yau quotient of an genus-one fibered threefold. The superconformal points are localized over orbifold fixed points in the base that are gauged under a discrete symmetry by a special type of fiber over them. The presentation is intended for non F-theory experts and the main ingredients of the above construction are introduced.
