Description
Although the MTCA standard is well established for accelerator control
systems, the control systems of most X-ray beamlines still rely on the
outdated VME standard. I will present how this could be changed in the near
future using existing and planned MTCA hardware and I will show some examples
from beamline P24 at PETRA III.
