Description
The laser plasma undulator is a device which utilizes linear plasma laser plasma interaction to produce the tunable behavior of a very short wavelength undulator. We use simulation and calculate analytical solutions to evaluate the orbital angular momentum produced in such a configuration. We find the presence of orbtial angular momentum in the emitted fields as well as orders of orbital angular momentum accounting for the separation of off-axis harmonics in the forward beamed spectrum.
