The ATLAS and CMS trigger systems have been designed to cope with unprecedented luminosities and accelerator bunch-crossing conditions. Trigger selections have been designed to have high efficiency for SM processes. Top-quark production is one of those for which the trigger efficiency is expected to be very high.
