The meeting will be held in conjunction with members of the Expert Group “Photon Beam Transport and Diagnostics”, other interested scientists of the IRUVX-FEL Consortium are free to join the meeting. The subject of this meeting will be: - Upcoming developments for FEL-beamlines (mirrors + mechanic, Focussing optics, what is a plane mirror ?, specification of gratings, … ) - The current state of metrology - The current state of finishing technology, “what can we get – what would we like to have ?” - Topics of possible further development and of possible future cooperation - A new Round Robin for slope measuring instruments using high quality optical elements (two spherical mirrors (R = 9.3m) with residual slopes of 0.25 µrad rms !) will be available - A Round Robin for Roughness measuring instruments (Interference Microscope, AFM) - Calibration technology - Metrology and radiation damage. Fur further information, please, feel free to ask the EG-Coordinator: Frank Siewert Agenda and timetable of the meeting will follow.
