Description

Aqueous interfaces govern many important reactions in the environment and technology. The properties of these interfaces often deviate strongly from that of the bulk.
This talk will present recent photoelectron and X-ray absorption spectroscopy experiments that have provided new insights into the heterogeneous chemistry of ice/vapor, liquid/vapor and liquid/solid interfaces under environmental conditions.
