The lectures will introduce the effective field theory (EFT) framework to tackle the two-body problem in gravity. I will illustrate the basic ideas and concepts with hands-on calculations, emphasizing the analytic/computational side and field-theoretical ideas. It will be oriented towards theory students with some basic background in quantum field theory and general relativity.
