Description
This poster presents ATLAS measurements of SM free parameters (the top quark mass and weak mixing angle) as well as recently-observed rare SM processes involving vector boson self-interactions (photon-photon scattering and WW scattering). We highlight how several challenges of these precision analyses, e.g. our lack of knowledge of the proton structure and extremely low signal event rates, are overcome through dedicated supporting measurements and machine-learning techniques.
