Description

Quantum computing is a novel emergent field with a high potential to outperform classical computations and to even address problems which are not accessible to lassical computers. We will give an introduction to quantum computing, illustrate, how quantum computing can be performed on present hardware platforms and provide an example of a quantum computation for the 1-dimensional hydrogen atom and the Heisenberg model.
