Description

Due to the ongoing COVID19 Pandemic, the in-person aspect of this workshop has been cancelled. We will endeavour to hold a remote meeting on Monday 25th May to encourage participation from new collaborators. Details to follow.

Following the previous successful workshop held at LBNL in January 2019 a second workshop on Tracking in High Energy Physics using the ACTS framework will be held at DESY Hamburg from the 25th to 29th May 2020.

The ACTS project is used as basis for the development of a modern, parallelizable, efficient and fast track and vertexing reconstruction software.

The workshop will include talks on topics relevant to several aspects of track reconstruction, but will put an emphasis on hands-on collaboration on small group projects.

Please fill in the field during registration, or contact the organizers in you have suggestions for projects to be undertaken.

There will be a small registration fee for the workshop (estimated to be around €60, to be confirmed later), which can be payed at a later date prior to the workshop once finalized. Please register early nonetheless in order to give the organizers a idea of numbers.

The workshop is supported by the Institute for Research and Innovation in Software for High Energy Physics (IRIS-HEP) & the Innovative Digital Technologies for Research on Universe and Matter (ErUM-IDT-Data) pilot project of the BMBF.
