H1+ZEUS meeting - 19/Feb/2020

NNLO QCD fits to HERA jets and extraction of alpha_s

- The analysis team reported on the recent progress

- There was a discussion on how to present the possible alpha_s
   extraction in the paper. Given the large impact of the H1 jet data
   on the alpha_s precision, it was requested to address the relation
   to the H1 alpha_s paper in the draft.

- Agreement that the focus of paper is in completing the HERAPDF2.0
   family at NNLO.

- Comparison of PDFs with and without jets is important aspect to be done
   and included.

- Discussion on evaluation of scale uncertainty: (1/2 correlated, 1/2
   uncorrelated) as before; or fully correlated ?
   Not obvious what to use and so produce both evaluations and then
   decide how to best present this in the draft.

- Timescale aims:
  - Brief update in next H1+ZEUS meeting, 18/Mar
  - First full and complete draft by end of March / beginning of April to
     discuss with referees and Managements
  - Presentation and circulation of draft to collaborations during April.
