Discussion:
Idea to compare all different generators with dedicated benchmark cross section and distributions, which should be sensitive to hard processes, parton shower, hadronization and underlying events.
organise 1 day meeting on minimum bias data with the first LHC data collected beginning of 2010. The meeting should involve all MC authors and both experiments to discuss the first comparisons and potential help from the MC authors
People were encouraged to use the discussion forum of the MC group and to post questions to any interesting subject in the area of MC generators.
The activities of all members of the Terascale MC network should be regarded as part of the MC group. To ensure that all the activities are known, all MC activist are encouraged to give short reports during the bi-weekly MC group meetings (even via EVO possible). In addition the yearly meeting of the MC network will become part of the MC group activities.
