Keeping the conversation going on social media: Tips for large facilities

 

Social media networks have become a key method for reaching both large numbers of people, and often more importantly - new people. In this Webinar, Molly Pekarik-Fry, Web & Digital Content Manager for the Diamond Light Source, the UK's national synchrotron, will describe the strategies that they have been pursuing to reach and enlarge their audience, which has is an important part of their engagement with external stakeholders, researchers, and the wider public. Molly will also consider how dramatic changes in our external landscape - such as the reactions to the COVID-19 pandemic - have created new challenges and opportunities for facilities and online communicators.
