Most recently, PETRA IV has opened a call for PETRA IV Scientific Instrumentation Proposals (SIPs) and asked researchers from all fields of science to submit proposals for experiments. The PETRA IV beamline portfolio will be developed on the basis of these proposals. Therefore, the contribution from the user community is essential for shaping the portfolio.

This meeting will serve to inform the user community and interested parties about our ideas and purposes regarding the PETRA IV SIPs. The content and the format of the SIPs will be presented in detail. A question & answer session is planned where the PETRA IV project management will answer questions from the participants regarding the SIPs.

The tentative program:

AM 10:00 – 10:30 PETRA IV the ultimate 3D X-ray microscope (C. Schroer)

AM 10:30 – 11:00 Scientific Instrumentation Proposals (O. Seeck, H.-C. Wille, K. Bagschik)

AM 11:00 – 12:00 Q & A session
