Any equipment that would require UPS (run on battery in case of a power-cut).
The detectors are placed on 3 “sites” along the beam line:
Interaction point (~10-15m), brem target (20 - 25m), photon detection (15-20m).
The distances quoted integrate some sort of routing (ie it’s not a straight line), from the service room above the experimental area.
So we need to understand what (DAQ/power supply/cooling) can go in the service room and what need to stay in the experimental area and by which mean (cable, optic fiber, pipe) they will be connected where they have been assigned.
So far in the service room I have budgeted two cabinet to house all the services of the experiments. I think we need a bit more information on what will go there, to understand if two cabinets would be enough. For instance do we need any crates, how many power supply and so on?
For the equipment that requires to stay in the experimental area, do we need to shield them? If so what are the dimensions of what need to stay there?
What about the common infrastructure, such as the hexapods, what sort of equipment (and cabling) is needed to run them? Do we put one only in one side? Are we certain that the option we have so far is radiation hard?
