PIER is pleased to announce its next PIER Innovation Lunch Talk "From Science to Innovation - Founding a Technology Startup Part-Time" taking place remotely (via Zoom) on 26 November 2020, 12 noon.
Is it possible to found a startup and pursue a career in academia at the same time? What are the legal obstacles that have to be overcome? Which strategies and digital tools regarding product development and production are available for part-time founders? And, on a more general note, how do I turn a research prototype into a salable product? These and other questions will be addressed by Matthias Budden and Thomas Gebert, founders of the science spin-off WiredSense GmbH, in our next digital PIER Innovation Lunch Talk.
