Online Workshop "Grant Writing"

This interactive online workshop teaches the principles of good scientific writing in English. It explains, how to structure grant applications whilst avoiding typical mistakes. The workshop guides through the evaluation procedure of grant applications and will contain trainer input, as well as individual- and group work.

The workshop is organized as a transferable skills workshop by the PIER Education Platform (PEP) and open to all postdoctoral researchers and PhD students in their final year in the fields of physics, mathematics, computer science or structural biology at DESY or Universität Hamburg.

About the Trainer

Dr. Christina Schütte is an evaluator for the European Commission within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie funding program of FP7 and Horizon 2020. She was is also co-founder of the ProSciencia consultant GmbH, where she focusses on acquisition and scientific management of technology-driven research projects. She provides support in grant- and paper writing as well as training on related topics.
