After a short introduction of QED and C* boundary conditions on the lattice I will discuss our simulations. The choice of parameters and the line of constant physics will be discussed, followed by an introduction to mass reweighting in the context of tuning. In particular I will focus on features which distinguish our fully dynamical QCD+QED simulations from pure QCD ones. For instance finite volume effects, isospin breaking corrections and the sign of the Pfaffian will be discussed in depth.
