Description
We will give an overview about the activities of the High Level Controls Team, which contributed many of the daily operation software for the European XFEL, but also other DESY facilities. The virtual XFEL, which served a lot for development and testing of high level software components, will be discussed in closer detail and an outlook to upcoming other virtual 'clones' will be given. Finally first thoughts and ideas for a implementation of a new sequencer, to be used by many DESY facilities, will be given.
