Unconscious bias training for MMS PIs

We will start the interactive workshop “Including academic selection” with an exploration of the “ideal image” of the successful candidate and its consequences for decision making in selection processes. Thereafter, we will explore and discuss tips for process optimization in selection decision making, specifically focusing on the interview and presentation phase and on the group dynamics within the selection committee. Through activities, discussion, and offering concrete tips for process optimization, this workshop aims at reducing the room for bias in selection decision making processes and thereby works towards more including academic selection.  

Trainer: Dr. Carolin Ossenkop, Teacher of Strategic Human Resource Management at Radboud University and Diversity Coach at Connectify.

All MMS PIs are welcome to participate, not only the ones who suggested a research topic in this year´s application round.
