Maryna:
- much larger dose all over (sometimes 2 orders of magnitude larger than phase0) but tolerable probably.
- need to process the fwd screen in both phases (need mostly signal), profiler+BSM in phase0. —> Maryna will talk with Sasha and John (need at least 10 BXs of signal and at least 1 BX of bkg)
- not related to dose but for reco: could be that we can defocus the electron beam to reduce the signal rates (without compromising xi and chi).

Sasha:
- GEANT and FLUKA are consistent enough
- interference with Ted’s elx rack seems OK (even without polyethylene)
- need to see if the photon (BSM) dump is acceptable —> need more shielding probably to stop neutrons from existing the walls for the other tunnel areas —> need to talk with Kyle so these areas are included in the FLUKA sim

Arka+Shan:
- levels of electron bkg are ~1000 per BX we need a factor of ~20 reduction
- photon levels are still too large for calo (and tracker) —> need to optimise the joint between the pipe and the triangular chamber and also put shielding plate at the back of the calo.
